1. Automated Urine Chemistry Analysis
The UA-5600 is designed for automated physical and chemical urine analysis. It combines reagent-strip reflectance colorimetry with refractometry for specific gravity and nephelometry for appearance assessment. This allows routine urine chemistry and physical characteristics to be analyzed within one workflow.
2. Multiple Test Strip Options
The analyzer supports both 11-parameter and 14-parameter urine strips. The 14-parameter option adds creatinine, calcium and albumin, providing a broader testing profile for clinical laboratories.
3. High-Efficiency Sampling
Mindray uses dot-matrix sampling technology to help reduce cross-interference between test items and improve analytical precision. The analyzer can process up to 240 samples per hour and accommodate up to 100 samples and 200 test strips.
4. Calculated Urine Ratios
In addition to direct test results, the UA-5600 provides calculated Protein/Creatinine (P/C) and Albumin/Creatinine (A/C) ratios. The A/C ratio can provide additional information related to urinary albumin excretion.
5. Intelligent Workflow
An integrated 360° barcode scanner, independent STAT position and bidirectional LIS connection support efficient sample identification and laboratory workflow. Mindray's LabXpert software can manage the instrument and display urine chemistry, sediment and RBC morphology results on a unified interface when used within the corresponding urinalysis solution.
