Product Details
1. 2-in-1 Whole-Body Imaging
The TE Air e5M combines linear and convex imaging in one wireless transducer. Its broad frequency range allows it to cover superficial, vascular, musculoskeletal and deeper abdominal examinations without changing probes.
2. Matrix Thin Slice Technology
Matrix Thin Slice technology provides a broader frequency bandwidth and supports detailed imaging across different depths. It is a key technology enabling the e5M to function as a versatile whole-body handheld ultrasound system.
3. Intelligent Imaging
The system incorporates iTouch+ for automatic image optimization, helping reduce manual adjustments during scanning.
Other smart functions include Smart Bladder, Smart Calc, PW Auto Calc and VA Grid for automated measurements and vascular access procedures.
4. Complete Doppler Capability
The e5M supports:
· Color Doppler
· Power Doppler
· PW Doppler
· Tissue Doppler Imaging (TDI)
This allows the handheld system to be used for vascular, cardiac and other Doppler-based examinations.
5. iNeedle Visualization
iNeedle enhances needle visibility during ultrasound-guided procedures, making the e5M suitable for applications such as vascular access and musculoskeletal injections.
6. Wireless and Portable Design
The transducer weighs approximately 229 g and connects to a smartphone or tablet through Wi-Fi. It can operate without an external Wi-Fi network because the probe itself provides the wireless connection.
7. Rugged IP68 Design
The e5M is rated IP68 for dust and water protection, making it suitable for demanding hospital, emergency and mobile-care environments.
8. Workflow and Connectivity
iWorks provides standardized examination protocols, while iScanHelper provides embedded scanning tutorials with anatomical illustrations and reference images.
The system supports DICOM 3.0, PACS and PC Mode for integration into clinical data-management workflows.
