Product Details
1. Large Instrument Channel
The ED-5GT features a 4.2 mm instrument channel, providing sufficient space for most commonly used endoscopic accessories. This makes the duodenoscope suitable for a range of diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP procedures.
2. Enhanced Visualization
With a 15° backward side-viewing angle and a 100° field of view, the ED-5GT is designed to provide a suitable viewing position for observing the papilla and surrounding anatomy. HD imaging helps provide clear visualization during procedures.
The optional VIST (Versatile Intelligent Staining Technology) can further enhance mucosal patterns and assist in identifying the papilla and other anatomical details.
3. Dual-Locking Forceps Elevator
The forceps elevator incorporates a dual locking mechanism designed to reduce the risk of losing accessory positioning and facilitate accessory exchange during therapeutic procedures.
4. Easier Reprocessing
The removable distal cap provides direct access to the forceps elevator, allowing more thorough cleaning of the distal end. This design is intended to simplify reprocessing and support infection-control procedures.
