1. Essential Multi-Parameter Monitoring
The uMEC is designed to provide stable and accurate monitoring of essential physiological parameters. Depending on configuration, it can monitor ECG, SpO₂, NIBP, respiration, temperature, IBP, cardiac output and CO₂.
The newer uMEC 60/70/80/100/120/150 series is officially indicated for monitoring and displaying multiple physiological parameters including ECG, respiration, temperature, SpO₂, pulse rate, NIBP, IBP, PAWP, C.O. and CO₂.
2. Reliable Measurement Technology
The monitor incorporates Mindray's Multi-lead ECG Algorithm, a fast NIBP measurement technology and an anti-interference SpO₂ algorithm.
These technologies are designed to provide stable measurements in routine clinical monitoring and help clinicians obtain essential vital-sign information efficiently.
3. Easy-to-Use Interface
uMEC features a straightforward user interface designed to reduce training requirements and simplify routine monitoring.
Selected models support touchscreen and gesture operations, allowing users to adjust screen brightness, alarm volume and screen views. Configuration profiles can also be customized for different clinical scenarios.
4. Clinical Assistive Functions
Selected uMEC configurations support Early Warning Score (EWS), Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) and 24-hour ECG summary applications.
These functions help clinicians review patient information and identify changes in physiological status without requiring a separate analysis platform.
5. Long Battery Operation
The newer uMEC models support up to 12 hours of continuous operation with one lithium-ion battery, depending on configuration and operating conditions.
This makes the monitor suitable for continuous bedside monitoring as well as situations where temporary battery-powered operation is required.
6. Durable Clinical Design
The newer uMEC 100/120/150 models use a robust housing designed for routine hospital environments. Mindray specifies 0.75 m drop protection and IPX1 water resistance, together with a fanless, low-power design.
